NEW YORK — Republican U.S. Rep. George Santos, who has been criticized over numerous litanies of fabrications about his education and professional pedigree, among others, has been charged with federal criminal offenses, Associated Press reported.
The charges against Santos, filed in the Eastern District of New York are under seal. The unsealing would happen when Santos appears in court as soon as tomorrow, Wednesday.
