Biden signs gay marriage law, calling it ‘a blow against hate’

Joe Biden, Jr.Biden signs gay marriage law, calling it ‘a blow against hate’

WASHINGTON (The Continent Times) — A cheerful crowd of thousands on Tuesday afternoon gathered to watch President Joe Biden sign gay marriage legislation into law. “This law and the love it defends strike a blow against hate in all its forms,” Biden said on the South Lawn of the White House. “And that’s why this law matters to every single American,” said Biden.

New federal law would require states to recognize marriage between people of the same sex even if these marriages were carried out in other states. Many LGBTQ+ activists have called the new law, a victory and a moment to be remembered in American History.
