On Thursday, OceanGate, the U.S.-based company that managed the tourist submersible that exploded during a dive to the Titanic ruin, suspended all exploration and commercial operations, according to its website.
The only information provided was a red banner at the top of the company’s website stating, “OceanGate has suspended all exploration and commercial operations.”
Both, the U.S. and Canadian authorities are investigating the cause of the June subsea explosion that killed all five aboard and raised concerns about the unregulated nature of such expeditions, Reuters reported.
